Evening Event with the String Quartet Bermuda 4

Bermuda 4 is a young String Quartet from the Ruhr Area (Germany). The quartet was founded in 2007 by concertmasters and principal players of the Bochum Symphony Orchestra. The name Bermuda4 was inspired by the "Bermuda Triangle", the entertainment district of Bochum. All four musicians have a lot of experience as soloists and chamber musicians and Bermuda4 has quickly made a name for themselves. The quartet has been praised by audiences and press alike both for their innovative programming and their fresh, energetic playing. Apart from playing standard classical and romantic repertoire, an important focus for Bermuda4 is contemporary music. A great honor for the quartet is the invitation by the "Cultural Capital 2010" to present a concert cycle of works by Hans Wener Henze and his students.
